• The Cardassian scoutship Kevalu, patrolling the Bajor system under the command of Dalin Ocett, pursues an unauthorized Bajoran vessel into the Denorios Belt. Shield interference from the Belt weakens Kevalu's defenses, forcing it to destroy the Bajoran ship in lieu of disabling and capturing it.^[1][2]
