Aarris was a class M planet located in the Aarra star system in a region of space know as The Triangle at the edge of the Alpha and Beta Quadrant. It found itself in a narrow sector between the Klingon and Romulan spheres of influences. (FASA RPG module: The Triangle)
Politics

It was an extremely rich planet ran by a democratic government. The planet was ruled by a President. One of its elected Presidents was 16 year old Sandra Beckzr. Despite its precarious location they benefited from a mutual agreement between the Klingons and the Romulans to leave them alone. This agreement came in part to the fact that Aarris would openly deal with either side at fair prices. Both powers kept the sector under constant watch and built embassies on the surface. Aarris possessed a defense force but it was no where near the power of the neighboring powers. (FASA RPG module: The Triangle)
EconomyEdit
The planets rich mineral resources were their main bargaining chip, using it to acquire needed technology. Even if the planets market was thriving, a black market also evolved at the same pace.
The largest corporation on the planet was Zeene Minerals, its founder Zeene was considered at the time the richest citizen of the planet. (FASA RPG module: The Triangle)
