An accordion was a bellow-driven musical instrument of Earth origin.

In 2368, a young child residing aboard the USS Enterprise-D came under the impression that a visiting Cordian ambassador was an accordion and asked him to play "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" on himself. (TNG novel: Imzadi)
