Administrator of the Vulcan High Command

Memory Beta, the wiki for licensed Star Trek content.

The Administrator of the Vulcan High Command was the Vulcan head of government in the 22nd century. The Administrator of the Vulcan High Command was chosen on the basis of merit, and was often a virtual autocrat, though he/she was advised by a number of high-ranking ministers. (ENT episodes: "The Forge", "Awakening".)

The office of High Command Administrator was abolished when the Vulcan High Command was eliminated in 2154 following the discovery of the Kir'Shara and the overthrow of Administrator V'Las. (ENT episode: "Kir'Shara".)

After the Syrrannite Reformation, the new Vulcan head of government, T'Pau, was initially titled First Minister. (ENT novel: Kobayashi Maru.) In mid-2155, however, First Minister T'Pau's title reverted to that of Administrator of the Confederacy of Vulcan. (ENT novel: Beneath the Raptor's Wings.)
