The Aegian-class was a type of Federation frigate in service during the late 24th century.

The Aegian-class was designed to be quick and efficient and perform a protection role when participating in a fleet action. With this aim in mind, the Aegian-class were equipped with powerful phaser and photon torpedo banks.

By 2377, many Aegian-class vessels had been equipped with a shield enhancer which would prove vital in a fleet combat operation, as the enhancer would enhance the shields of friendly starships. (TNG video game: Armada II)
