Ai'lara Jarok was a female Romulan who lived in the 24th century. Ai'lara was the wife of Alidar Jarok and the mother of Tiaru Jarok.

In 2366, Alidar wrote a letter to Ai'lara and Tiaru before he committed suicide aboard the USS Enterprise, having been given inaccurate information on Romulan military movements to test his loyalty. Data commented that the letter would be impossible to deliver, but Jean-Luc Picard hoped it would be possible one day. (TNG episode: "The Defector")

In 2374, during the Dominion War, Captain Picard gave the letter to Ai'lara, who felt that her husband had been cowardly in his actions, but had redeemed himself through his suicide. Ai'lara and her daughter had been investigated by the Tal Shiar and were forced to leave their family home due to the disgrace. After reading the letter, however, Ai'lara learned that General Koval had been instrumental in helping her and her daughter and came to see the truth behind her husband's actions, forgiving him after eight years. (TNG - The Sky's the Limit short story: "Suicide Note")
