The Alaska-class was a type of battlecruiser in service to Starfleet in the early 24th century. It was considered the most powerful vessel of its time. (FASA reference: Star Trek: The Next Generation Officer's Manual)

The 1988 FASA guide identifies only one Alaska-class vessel, that being the USS Enterprise-C.
