Alexander Llorente was a male Human, the son of Marita Llorente, born in early 2269. Alexander was five months old when Spock, in the months following the Talin IV disaster, was temporarily living with him, his mother, and her partner, Penn Grossman. During this period, Spock would share the caretaking duties for Alexander, and engage in "tutoring". Spock found the regular contact with the infant's unconfused mind "refreshing." (TOS novel: Prime Directive)

It might be assumed that Grossman was Alexander's father, though this is never specifically established.
