Altairian rice wine is an alcoholic beverage produced on one or more worlds in the Altair system by the fermentation of rice.

Altairian rice wine was a favorite beverage of Commodore Julius Merrill, and Captain James T. Kirk presented him with a bottle when the two met at Deep Space Station M-33 in 2267. (TOS short story: "Fracture")
