Biography[]
By 2372, she reached the rank of lieutenant and served as a security officer aboard the newly launched USS Enterprise-E under the command of Captain Jean-Luc Picard.
In that year, Huff was assigned to accompany Lieutenant Commander Data as he moved around the ship during a Changeling infiltration on the Enterprise. Following the discovery of chief of security Linda Addison's death, Huff was made acting chief of security until a permanent replacement was decided on by Captain Picard.
A couple of weeks later, the Enterprise made a stop at Starbase 375 to deliver Lieutenant Padraig Daniels and his team as part of a round of inspection for Federation installations in the wake of the bombing of the Antwerp Conference.
Not long after their arrival a similar explosion occured on the starbase that killed station CO Admiral Eric Hahn. During their investigation, Huff was accidentaly murdered with a wrongly set phaser by Cadet Bael Nomine who was trying to recover evidence from Lieutenant Daniels that the bomb was placed by Nomine on the orders of Admiral James Leyton as part of his attempted coup.
