Amekentra was a green-scaled alien Starfleet officer who served aboard the USS Enterprise in the 2270s. She was assigned to the medical section as a dietician.
Before serving aboard the Enterprise, she served aboard the USS Yorktown. While aboard the Yorktown, the starship was attacked by several Klingon warships. During the battle, Amekentra nearly died before being rescued by medical staff. (TOS novel: The Wounded Sky)
