Anara-Zel was a city on the planet of Tezwa.
During the insurgency led by disposed Prime Minister Kinchawn, the city suffered several attacks; one ambush here by rebel forces killed four security officers from the USS Republic in the early days of Federation occupation; a second attack here killed four engineers, two medics, and wounded nineteen relief workers. General Gyero Minza was captured at an abandoned hotel within city limits. The city also housed a hospital where Beverly Crusher oversaw planetary medical aid until it was destroyed by rebel attacks.
