The Clan of Combat was a group within the Andorian government. They were noted as being the most prestigious Andorian clan which handled all military operations on Andor which included starship construction and arms shipments. (FASA RPG module: The Federation)
During the Four Years War, the Clan of Combat worked alongside Starfleet Engineering Command in developing replacements for laser and accelerator cannons.
