Lieutenant Commander Andre Charvat was the assistant chief science officer aboard the USS Enterprise (NCC-1701) in 2268.
When Andre Charvat was at Starfleet Academy, one of his instructors was Professor James Atheling, who inspired Charvat to teach at the Academy after graduation instead of signing aboard a starship. After many years of teaching, Charvat applied for starship service and was assigned aboard the Enterprise.
