Andromeda Dyson Sphere

The sphere occupying Iconia in 2410.

The Andromeda Dyson Sphere was an ancient[1] Iconian space station, a Dyson sphere in Iconian Empire Herald service in the 2410s decade. (STO - The Iconian War mission: "Uneasy Allies")

History and specifications[]

The surviving twelve Iconians, known as the Iconian Whole, tasked the Solanae to construct Dyson spheres at some point after the Fall of Iconia 250,0000 years before 2410. (STO - The Iconian War mission: "Midnight")

Following the capture of the IRW Leahval at the Battle of Brea III in 2409,[2] Emperor of the Romulan Star Empire Sela and her crew were held at the Andromeda Dyson Sphere. A year later, Sela was left the lone survivor, and was rescued by a party of the Khitomer Alliance. The sphere then jumped to Iconia, enveloping its star system. (STO - The Iconian War mission: "Uneasy Allies")

The resurgent Iconian Empire then began its assault on the Alpha and Beta Quadrant powers, using the Herald fleet assembled inside the Dyson sphere. (STO - The Iconian War mission: "Blood of Ancients")

A major assault on the Dyson sphere, involving the task force Delta Flight, suffered a disastrous defeat. (STO - The Iconian War mission: "Broken Circle")

As a result, the desperate Alliance deployed the timeship KIS Annorax to defeat the Iconians in the past. This mission also was a failure. (STO - The Iconian War mission: "Butterfly")

Following a peace accord reached after the Second Battle of Earth, the Iconians and their Herald forces returned to Iconian and their Andromeda Dyson Sphere, except for the extremist T'Ket and her forces. (STO - The Iconian War mission: "Midnight")
