Aneurian mood paintings were an art form. They comprised Holographic illustrations of changing, non-representational objects and low tone music.

Quark displayed Aneurian mood paintings in his bar on Deep Space 9. Humanoid species enjoyed the art, but non-humanoid species, such as the Vagrii, found the paintings too disturbing to visage, so Quark installed baffles to shield such patrons from psychological harm.
