Ang was a male Starfleet officer in the early 24th century. As a Lieutenant in the 2330s, he served aboard the USS Stargazer under Captain Daithan Ruhalter and chief of security Gilaad Ben Zoma. When Ruhalter was killed and first officer Commander Stephen Leach incapacitated in 2333, Ang was made acting chief of security, when acting captain Jean-Luc Picard made Ben Zoma his acting executive officer. Shortly afterward, while the Stargazer was at Starbase 32, Ang transferred to the USS Sutherland, taking the position of second officer aboard that vessel. (SGR novel: Gauntlet)
