Annie Riker was the wife of Kyle Riker and the mother of William Riker.
Annie gave birth to her son William in 2335, but became ill soon after. Annie died when William was still just two years old, in 2337. (ST - The Lost Era novel: Deny Thy Father)
Having no memories of his mother, Riker was unable to deal with her death until he was five. (TNG episodes: "The Icarus Factor", "Time Squared", "Interface")
- Riker's mother's first name was to have been given as "Betty" in a biography seen in "Conundrum", although the graphic was not used in the episode.
