Anson Peters was a male Human Starfleet officer in the 24th century. He was long-time friends with Jean-Luc Picard, and in fact saved Picard's life as a cadet when Picard was stabbed through the heart by a Nausicaan. Eventually, Peters made the rank of commodore; Peters also had a son named Bryant. (TNG comic: "Honor Bound!")

History

While in command of Starbase 126, a hunting accident led to the death of the Shardak Prime Minister's son. The Shardak belief in "eye for an eye" justice led the elder Peters to retire and go on the run in order to prevent the execution of Bryant (the younger Peters was tricked into believing their journey was a trip). Data and Wesley Crusher used holographic technology on a shuttlecraft to make Wesley look like Bryant to Shardak sensors. The Shardak destroyed the shuttlecraft, Wesley was saved and the Shardak believed the debt was paid. Anson Peters in turn felt the debt for saving Picard's life was also paid. (TNG comic: "Honor Bound!")
