Antimatter was a generalized term that was used to describe a state of matter which is in some way different from another form of matter. The term is often used to describe:

  • a subatomic particle of matter which has an opposite charge of another particle of matter
  • a subatomic particle of matter that is a variant of another particle, albeit with different qualities
  • antimatter universe which is identical to the "normal" universe at the macro level
