Aole Miller was a human Starfleet officer in the 23rd century.

Miller served as Starfleet's colonial liaison for the Taurus Reach aboard Vanguard. He was one of the first arrivals at the station on the same transport as Doctor Ezekiel Fisher in 2265.

In September 2267, Commander Miller was married to Ahmed Farahani.

In early January 2268, while on assignment at the New Anglesey colony on planet Kadru, Miller accidentally drowned while observing a native lifeform known as a nagai. A memorial service for him was held on Fontana Meadow in Vanguard's terrestrial enclosure. (VAN novel: Harbinger, VAN novella: The Ruins of Noble Men)
