Arbutus VIII was a planet, an inhabited world located somewhere in the space of the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants, the eighth planet in orbit of the Arbutus star system.
History and specifics[]
Arbutus VIII had established diplomatic relations with the United Federation of Planets by the late 23rd century. In the year 2289, Berg was serving as the Federation's ambassador to Arbutus, but was recalled in that same year. (TOS comic: "Class Reunion")
