Councillor Argashek was a member of the Klingon High Council in 2265. That year, he attended a Council meeting to discuss the destruction of the USS Bombay and the Federation's presence in the Gonmog Sector. Grozik and Glazya were his longtime allies on the Council. When he learned that James T. Kirk had taken command of the USS Enterprise, he noted that "Kirk" sounded like a good Klingon name. (VAN novel: Harbinger)
