The Argo-type shuttlecraft was a type of Federation shuttlecraft in service with the Federation Starfleet in the late 24th century. At least two shuttlecraft of this type, among them the Argo, were assigned to the USS Enterprise-E, starting in at least the year 2379.
At some point, the Argo was seen on approach to the Enterprise's shuttlebay and at some other point, the Argo and one other craft of this type participated in a geophysical mission in a planetary system. (Ships of the Line calendars 2011 & 2014)
Shuttles of this type featured room for at least three occupants and at least one was equipped with an embarked buggy that was secured aboard the shuttle's cargo hold via wheel clamps. The shuttlecraft could also be remote controlled from a device on the buggy.
Its warp nacelles were integrated with the main hull and featured fold-down wings for atmospheric flight maneuvers. It had four retractable landing legs and a fold-down ramp at the rear for its embarked buggy. (TNG movie & novelization: Nemesis)
