Argus X was a planet located in or near Federation space.

In early 2268, the USS Enterprise arrived in orbit of the planet and dispatched a landing party to survey the planet. Shortly after discovering a vein of pure tritanium, the party was attacked by the dikironium cloud creature, and several crewmen, including Valdini, were killed.
