See Taggert for other articles with titles that contain, either by relationship or by coincidence, this character's surname.

Ariel Taggert was a Human female serving in Starfleet in the 24th century.

In 2367, command of the USS Repulse had been taken over by the original Captain Taggert's daughter, Captain Ariel Taggert. The second Captain Taggert quickly distinguished herself in a three-way battle between Starfleet, the Borg, and an ancient doomsday machine created by a long-forgotten race and controlled by the mysterious woman named Delcara. The Repulse turned the tide in the battle by utilizing the deflector dish weapon developed by Lieutenant Commanders Geordi La Forge and Data earlier that year. (TNG novel: Vendetta)
