Armagnac was a type of brandy produced in the Armagnac region of France.

James T. Kirk and Spock shared a bottle of Armagnac after reliving, via mind meld, their forgotten visit to 2045. Though Spock rarely drank alcohol, he considered the Armagnac "a potable work of art" worthy of his appreciation. (TOS novel: Strangers from the Sky)
