Arthur Conan Doyle
Memory Beta, the wiki for licensed Star Trek content.
Sir Arthur Conan Doyle was a human author who resided in England in the 19th and early 20th centuries. His most famous works were the Sherlock Holmes short stories and novels, which remained popular well into the 24th century. (TNG episode: "Lonely Among Us")
Amanda Grayson and Spock of Vulcan were descendants of Doyle's. (TOS movie: Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country)
- This is an assumption based on Spock's claim that an ancestor was responsible for the quote, "When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth."
