Astra was a female Human in the 24th century. In her youth she lived on The Armada and was involved with a young man named Cumin. She, Cumin and Cumin's brother Kori often spent time together, entertaining each other without anything more interesting to do in the farms. (TNG comic: "Space Seeds")
