An astrogator was a piece of technology used on Federation starships.

Aboard the USS Enterprise the astrogator unit was located between the helmsman and navigator and could change the ship's course with the turn of a dial. (TOS novel: The Rings of Time, TOS episodes: "And the Children Shall Lead", "The Gamesters of Triskelion")
