Atish Khatami was a female human Starfleet officer of Persian descent who served on the Constitution class USS Endeavour in the 2260s.
In 2265 she was a Commander, serving as the Endeavour’s first officer under Captain Zhao Sheng. When Sheng was killed on Erilon by the Shedai Wanderer Khatami was promoted to Captain. She was at first insecure in her new role but slowly grew into it. She was indecisive about who should take on the role as her first officer. (VAN novel: Summon the Thunder)
- Khatami's comment "Allah be praised" may indicate that she is a follower of the Terran religion of Islam.
