Aurelan Jira Kirk was the wife of George Samuel Kirk Jr. They had three sons: Peter, Alexander, and Julius.
Aurelan lived with her scientist husband and family on Deneva in the 2260s. In 2267, Aurelan became infected by neural parasites from Levinius V, along with the rest of the colonies inhabitants. Aurelan was able to survive long enough to be rescued by her brother-in-law James T. Kirk and the USS Enterprise. She was able to inform Kirk of the parasites before she died.
