Captain Azon Lexen was a male Trill who lived in the 24th century. Lexen was joined with a Trill symbiont who had lived six lifetimes. In the 2370s, he was a Starfleet officer in command of the USS Gandhi.

In 2371, Lexen commanded the Gandhi on a patrol of the Demilitarized Zone. Lieutenant Thomas Riker was sent on his last mission under Lexen's command, to Outpost Sierra III to bring in medical supplies. (TNG - Double Helix novel: Quarantine)
