Deck Officer B'huto was an officer in Starfleet in the late 23rd century. He was a Human from Africa.

In 2294, he was on duty when James T. Kirk bluffed Starbase 499 into giving him an illegal shipment of squirt guns. B'huto was so honored by James T. Kirk's presence that he assigned the two best pilots, Handler and A'ron, to assist in moving the cargo. (TOS novel: The Fearful Summons)
