B'ndri was a Xenexian male, and the shaman of Calhoun for many decades. In 2376, Mackenzie Calhoun requested that B'ndri bless his recent marriage to Elizabeth Shelby, per Xenexian custom. B'ndri initially refused to accept Shelby as a worthy mate for a Xenexian warrior, and then agreed to subject Shelby to several days of physical trials to test her worthiness. Only after Calhoun decided his love was more important than anything else did B'ndri acquiesce and perform the marriage ceremony. (NF - No Limits short story: "A Little Getaway")
