"Banned from Argo" was a well-known song in the 24th century. Kojo Pran attempted to play this song at the memorial service for his daughter-in-law, Rupi Yee, but was shouted down by other attendees. (ST novel: A Singular Destiny)

"Banned From Argo" is also the name of a filk song from the 1970s, describing the activities of a familiar-sounding starship crew while on shore leave.
