History
In the year 2371, the USS Defiant answered a faked distress call from Barisa indicating the world was attacked by Tzenkethi forces. (DS9 episode: "The Adversary")
On Stardate 53550.8 (July 20, 2376), Starfleet dispatched the USS Enterprise-E, USS Jupiter, USS Templar and the USS Hancock to establish a starbase in the system following the end of the Dominion War. Renegade Dominion Jem'Hadar attack ships endangered the area and were defeated by the Starfleet flotilla to secure the system. (TNG video game: Armada mission: "Premonitions")
