The Battle of Galorndon Core was an engagement between the United Earth and the Romulan Star Empire in 2157 during the Earth-Romulan War.

The battle involved the Earth starship Enterprise and the IRW Raon. The Enterprise was able to disable the Raon and then deployed ground troops to rescue the scientists Hans Ruden and Emily Jensen who lived on Galorndon Core. The MACO troops were soon engaged by Romulan forces, but were successful in evacuating the scientists. In the meantime the Raon left and reentered the system on a ramming course towards the planet. The Raon struck the planet, leading to the ship's destruction and igniting the planet's dilithium stockpile ablaze. Fortunately, the MACO troops escaped in the nick of time.
