Bellaea was a planet located in the space of the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants, known to the United Federation of Planets before the year 2268. This was the last stop for the Hermes-class USS Calypso. When that ship departed, they took with them parasites from Bellaea which decimated her systems. (TOS novel: Vulcan!)
