Benjamin Kogelman was a male human in the 24th century, the son of Starfleet security guard Claire Eddy. He was an archaeologist, and as of 2376 lived and worked in a remote region of Earth's Gobi Desert. Kogleman and his mother were never close, and he was surprised when he learned after her death that he had been listed as next-of-kin, and was given her Starfleet Citation for Conspicuous Gallantry.
