A Besinian freighter was a freighter used by the Besinian civilization. Besinian freighters were able to achieve a warp speed of warp five and were capable of atmospheric flight.

In 2376, Iliana Ghemor and a crew travelled to Bajor aboard a Besinian freighter that had been obtained from a Yridian salvage dealer on Argaya and augmented with Cardassian weapons and Dominion shielding. After Ghemor destroyed Sidau with triceron explosives, the freighter departed Jalanda spaceport, although Kira Nerys and the crew of the USS Defiant were able to track the Besinian freighter when it was close to the Badlands just over five hours later. Ghemor killed her crew aboard the freighter and escaped with Ke Hovath aboard a shuttlepod, sabotaging the vessel so it exploded soon after. Kira and her away team were able to escape the freighter before this. (DS9 - Worlds of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine novel: Bajor: Fragments and Omens)

Ghemor had planned to kill the crew of the Besinian freighter during the Bajor mission as she felt they had become a hindrance to her. (DS9 novel: The Soul Key)
