Beta Calara III was a planet in the Alpha Quadrant, approximately thirty light-years from Betazed. In 2336, Ven Kaldarren and his son Jason Garrett traveled to Beta Calara III, where they met up with Lam Leahru-Mar, his newphew Pahl, and Su Chen-Mai, for an expedition into Cardassian space.
