The Bhopal disaster was a disaster that took place in Bhopal, India.
In 1984, a Union Carbide Corporation factory lost control of its chemicals, killing many people and becoming known as the Bhopal disaster. Khan Noonien Singh was nearly killed, but Gary Seven rescued him. (TOS novel: The Rise and Fall of Khan Noonien Singh, Volume 1)
In 2020, a picture of the disaster's results hung in the Human Extinction League's headquarters. (TOS novel: The Rings of Time)
