For the mirror universe counterpart, see Boratus (mirror).

Boratus was a Vorgon male criminal from the 27th century who was partnered with Ajur.

Biography[]

Boratus and Ajur attempted to steal a device known as the Tox Uthat, a quantum phase inhibitor which was capable of halting all nuclear fusion within a star, from its creator, Kal Dano, when he was en route to a star were he would conduct a field test on the device, but were stopped by temporal agent Timot Danlen. (STO website : Post War Era #3:A Single Step)

On another occasion, they tried to steal the device again, but were foiled when Dano hid the device on the planet Risa in the 22nd century. Boratus and Ajur then researched the Uthat in the historical record and found that Captain Jean-Luc Picard discovered and destroyed the Uthat in the year 2366. The two Vorgons then travelled into the past to get the Uthat, but were stopped when Picard apparently destroyed the device. (TNG episode: "Captain's Holiday")

The pair then travelled back in time a further nine days to recover the Uthat, because they now knew where it was located. Department of Temporal Investigations special agents Gariff Lucsly and Marion Dulmur, having received information from Jena Noi, a temporal agent, intercepted the pair of criminals and stopped them. They were turned over to Noi so they could be returned to the future. (DTI novel: Watching the Clock)
