Brack Interplanetary was a 21st century corporation founded by Micah Brack. (ST novel: Federation)

History and specifics[]

After leaving MIT, Zefram Cochrane traveled to Kashishowa Station on Luna through a grant provided by the company. During Cochrane's early continuum distortion experiments, an engineering failure in the lithium converter resulted in an explosion, and a runaway distortion effect which caused a test facility one hundred kilometers away from Kashishowa Station to vanish. Despite this, Brack Interplanetary continued to fund Cochrane's research through his first warp flight and into at least the 2070s.

Sometime prior to the 2060s, Brack Interplanetary funded the construction of a pressure dome habitat at Christopher's Landing on Titan. During that decade, Micah Brack shifted most of his company's resources into the funding of extrasolar colonies, so that the human race would survive if another global war wiped out life on Earth. The earliest of these was Cochrane's colony on Centauri B II. (ST novel: Federation)
