Lieutenant Commander Brent was an Earth Starfleet officer during the Earth-Romulan War.

In 2155, Brent was serving as the tactical officer of the Discovery when the Romulans attacked it with nuclear weapons. Brent was among the survivors that evacuated the ship before it was destroyed. (ENT novel: Beneath the Raptor's Wing)
