By the 24th century, the painting hung at in the Palais de la Concorde, in a meeting room which was thus dubbed the Monet Room. Bridge over a Pond of Water Lilies was a favorite painting of Federation President Min Zife, who left the painting in a prominent position when the Monet Room was converted to a high-security space during the Dominion War. Zife considered it a symbol of all the art and culture of the Federation, which he was intent on perserving. (ST - Destiny novel: Gods of Night)
