Buck Bokai

Harmon Buck Gin Bokai, often simply referred to as "Buck" Bokai, was a Human baseball player in the 21st century, and was considered by many to be one of the greatest players of the sport.

Bokai began his career in Major League Baseball as a shortstop for the London Kings in 2015. (DS9 episode: "Past Tense, Part II")

In 2026, Bokai broke the record for the most consecutive hits in any one season, a record which had previously been set by Joe DiMaggio in 1941. (TNG episode: "The Big Goodbye", DS9 episode: "If Wishes Were Horses")

When the last World Series was played on Earth between the Kings and the New York Yankees, Bokai hit the game-winning home run in the eleventh inning of the seventh game. (TNG novel: A Time for War, A Time for Peace)

Zefram Cochrane knew of Bokai when he was younger. (ST novel: Federation)

Bokari eventually passed away in the early 22nd century. (DS9 episode: "If Wishes Were Horses")

In the late 24th century, Benjamin Sisko and his son Jake included a hologram of Bokai as part of their baseball holoprogram. After receiving some advice from his son about batting, Sisko joked that maybe he should undergo some batting practice with Bokai. (DS9 comic: "For the Glory of the Empire")

In 2369, one of the aliens studying the imaginations of those aboard Deep Space 9 took the form of Bokai. (DS9 episode: "If Wishes Were Horses")

In 2370, Jake recalled the alien that had posed as Bokai. (DS9 novel: Devil in the Sky)

In 2371, Sisko was surprised when Kira Nerys knew who Bokai was, although she pointed out that one of the aliens that studied them had taken Bokai's form. (DS9 novel: Wrath of the Prophets)
