Buckingham Palace was the official residence of the British monarch in London, on Earth, from 1837 through at least the mid 21st century.

In 2379, Buckingham Palace was host to a formal state dinner welcoming the newly elected members of the Federation Council. Presidential Chief of Staff Koll Azernal interrupted Federation President Min Zife at this dinner to tell him that the Tezwans had threatened the Klingon border colony of QiV'ol, Azernal, Zife, and his security detail immediately left and transported directly to the Palais de la Concorde in Paris.
