Byram Hall

Byram Hall was a structure in the capital city of Betazed, designed in the neo-Valdane architectural style. Ian and Lwaxana Troi were married in Byram Hall in 2328. It was destroyed during the Dominion invasion of Betazed in 2374. (short story: "The Ceremony of Innocence is Drowned")

After the war, Amick Hall, named for one of the Betazoids who died in the fight, was built on the site of Byram Hall. (TNG novel: A Time for War, A Time for Peace)

Possibly this hall was named by the authors for Amick Byram, who played Ian Troi in TNG: "Dark Page".
